My name is Carla Bailey with Happy Hearts Realty Group, LLC. For nearly 7 years prior to becoming licensed, I would visit new home communities, monitor prices, study floor plans and watch construction workers. Sometimes I’d even force my Family on long drives to walk acreage sites or visit huge homes I called “Museums.” Then in 2013, I took the advice of Family and Friends and got my Texas real estate license. Never once was my focus on the money aspect! Instead, it was about quality over quantity, and the People I could meet and positively impact their lives, gain their trust and build relationships. I strongly believe that honesty, patience, dedication and educating People are important in helping them make the best decisions.
I grew up in Los Angeles, California and give credit to my Dad who frequently took me on rides seeing communities with homes fit for magazines. That triggered a spark in me, and I went from owning a Barbie Dream House, to the dream of one day buying my own home. That experience helps me motivate Clients to set goals, especially when they have budgets that aren’t in line with their wish list. I was there, I was that 1st time home Buyer that wanted all my boxes checked and a home that excited me when I pulled into the driveway. Not being able to get what I wanted was depressing, but I kept visiting areas for motivation. My Husband started calling me a Squirrel which is a story you’ll have to ask me about.
I am grateful for life’s experiences which contributes to who I am today. During early career choices I chose the Nursing field because of my nurturing spirit. I proudly served in the United States Air Force, worked in the Laboratory, joined the AF Honor Guard and performed many memorable ceremonies. My travels and exposure to many cultures had allows me to be comfortable with the People I meet. I’m also grateful for my military career in which I earned a degree in Information Systems Management, have a background in computer security, Information Technology and as a Cyber Defense Analyst. I have many creative abilities one which is abstract art, and I have fond memories of me and my Daughter painting and how she sold her first design at the age of 2 and is a natural Artist. I’ve written poetry and won a contest, done many sewing projects, a shopper with extensive years that allows me to have an eye for decorating. Thanks to my Mom, I learned to cook at an early age which made it easy and fun. I adore time spent with my loved ones, and my Grand Kids who I can’t be with enough! My hard work is for the love of my Family and contribution to their success.
Unfortunately, being medically retired shortened my Military career, but I still reflect on our Air Force core values: "Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do". Though this profession isn’t for everyone, I loved it from day one, and are now passionately committed to your real estate needs.
